Iriver Rolls Out Its New HD PMP
When introducing new iRiver PMP, the K1 Smart HD, several heads turned not only because of its sleek design, but this is one of the few portable media player that supports files in MKV format.
Recently, iRiver has revealed how the User Interface to work the latest PMP. 3.5-inch, 480 x 320 resolution touch screen display menus similar to the traditional grid and multi-homescreen interface, very similar to the iPhone or Android phone. It also features Windows CE, which can be a turn-off for some people, but it is hard to ignore how it can support a variety of file formats, a 18-hour audio / 6-hours of video playback, and the various versions you can choose from . Sungworld
Many tech bloggers have been speculating that the just-released Sungworld Android MID may look like an Apple iTablet. However, since the iTablet has not yet been revealed to the public, we can assume that this MID looks like a large iPod Touch.
The Android-based MID features a 7-inch touchscreen, an ARM926 CPU, 128MB of memory, 2GB of storage, WiFi connectivity, support for 1080p video, HDMI-out, and two USB ports.
Sungworld is set to release the MID at the end of January (or February) and will be available in pink, blue, green, purple, and black.
