Although Sharp is the biggest cell phone manufacturer in Japan (in terms of market share), the company is uncomfortable seeing the domestic market getting smaller. In a recently published press release, Sharp has announced that they are planning on strengthening its mobile phone line for the international market.

The first in its plan is to export one of its big sellers to China: A solar-powered cell phone. The Solar Hybrid SH6230C has a solar cell module, a 2.9-inch LCD screen, and 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus.

The SH6230C, which comes in blue and white, is the first solar mobile phone that Sharp would market outside Japan. It will become available for Chinese users this February, costing about US$500, but Sharp announces that the solar powered phone may hit the shelves of other countries as well.

If you’ve ever wanted to take your iPhone along with you in an environment where you need both hands free, like, say, running, then we’ve got something for you today.

The folks out at Tune Belt bring you the Tune Belt Sport Armband, an armband designed to hold your iPhone squarely in place while also allowing you access to the controls, earphone jacks, and similar parts of the device.

Maybe you’re not the iPhone type–well, don’t worry about it, because the Tune Belt Sport Armband isn’t designed to work just with the iPhone. This will also work with Blackberries, the Palm Pre, and just about any other mobile device of comparable dimensions. And just in case you should favor using it for your running, the armband is washable so it doesn’t wind up smelling like a locker room after you’ve had it for a few runs.

Best part is, you can get one of these for just $20.

No, this is not the official press photos Nokia Mirage (Shadow), but we must admit, we certainly would not mind if it really such a debut. Word is that this upcoming Motorola Android handset, which looks like a trimmed down their popular twin Droid / Milestone, may actually be a Nexus Enterprise Two phone mentioned in the recent news.

Specifications reported from Mirage Motorola saliva, of course, and certainly makes it worth the upgrade to the Nexus One. There is no strong evidence to support this course, but given how Motorola has helped in increasing the popularity of Android phone platform Droid, not exactly take a genius to know why Google would want to partner with Nokia for the next handset they offer.

This is pure speculation right now, but it certainly makes sense. Hopefully, more information will be available in a few weeks to support this report. For now, you just drool over the images provided Motorola Shadow created by people at Mobile01 to your hearts content.
