Well, it isn’t just all looks only as we know without personality, a device cannot last this long in the market.

One of the strengths of the iPhone would be its App store that offers a bunch of useful and quirky apps, where today the i-Got-Control iPhone Universal Remote speaks for itself by letting your iPhone be used as a universal remote. It basically enables you to control thousands of devices through an intuitive touchscreen interface.

For those who can’t seem to find their device on the list, you can always learn its codes and save them as a new device. Retailing for $69.99 a pop, you will need to get your own iPhone first. Hopefully it won’t drain your battery even further, as the iPhone’s daily battery life is already rather poor in relative to other smartphones.

Not to mention that if you ever want to make a backup of important files, the steps involved can get complicated for the newbie.

Good thing devices such as the Clickfree Transformer for iPod/iPhone are here to help even the least tech savvy person transfer files from a computer to the iPod or iPhone’s excess storage space in a jiffy, taking the tried and true plug-and-play method.

There isn’t any software to install or further setup to do, and to make things even more idiot proof, the Clickfree will never overwrite your iPod’s existing content since it will deal only with unused storage space. Expect to pay £39.99 for some peace of mind.

I remember walking into a gadget shop and seeing this thing that could wave a flag-like thing, and I could see words being displayed.

I suppose it was an obvious move to apply this moving LED technology to bicycle wheels. If the bike wheel is stationary, all you will see is a bunch of glowing LEDs that blink with no real pattern. However, once this bike goes spinning, you will see all kinds of pictures and animations.

You can click on my Source to see the video of the LED lights on bike wheels for yourself. The animation is about the same as those of neon lights, but it is good enough to get an advertising message across. I wonder if this is the purpose of this device.

This technology was developed by Japan’s Suns and Moon Laboratory, and it was shown off at the Tokyo Make Meeting last weekend. You can see the words “Make: Tokyo” on the wheel itself, no doubt made just for this occasion.

This LED system runs on batteries, and not the kinetic motion generated by the rider itself. It also costs about $165, and I have no information as to how to program your bike LEDs to send the right message.

Then to make it worse, in some cases there are multiple versions of your charging cords. There are the outlet chargers, USB and then finally car chargers. Thankfully Scosche has made charging your iPod and iPhone a little bit more simplistic with a device small enough to dangle from your keychain.

This looks like nothing more than a car remote while it’s attached to your keys, but it hides a USB plug and a plug for your iPod and iPhone. With this small device you could easily keep your cord with you no matter where you go. This Scosche flipSync won’t cost you a small fortune either, you’ll just need $19.99 and to head to the Scosche website.

The Kodak Playsport camcorder might be a wee bit expensive at £129.99 for most folks, but this is no ordinary camcorder, not when it can fit into your pocket easily while offering full HD video capability. Not only that, you can bring this out on your outdoor trips since it is waterproof up to 3?, now how about that! Not only does it record video, it can also shoot 16:9 widescreen stills at 5-megapixels, where you can also get up close and personal with your subject through a 4x digital zoom. Once you’re done with your video recording, just plug it in using its USB connector and you’re good to go. All movies can be previewed through its 2? LCD display, and it even does slow motion playback to boot. Apart from that, you can have hours of recording thanks to its SDHC memory card slot.
