Superpower toy Hot Wheels Mattel introduced the latest to hit the shelves in 2010 and they are the first of its kind. Stealth Rides really flat, but pressing a button and they came out into the remote control, pocket-sized vehicles!

This folding toy credit card-sized car and about as slim as a flat phone. Once they turn into a real vehicle, they are just ordinary small Hot Wheels. They come with a plastic case that serves as a bag and remote control.

Sharp Plans on Exporting More Cell Phones Internationally

Although Sharp is the biggest cell phone manufacturer in Japan (in terms of market share), the company is uncomfortable seeing the domestic market getting smaller. In a recently published press release, Sharp has announced that they are planning on strengthening its mobile phone line for the international market.

The first in its plan is to export one of its big sellers to China: A solar-powered cell phone. The Solar Hybrid SH6230C has a solar cell module, a 2.9-inch LCD screen, and 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus.

The SH6230C, which comes in blue and white, is the first solar mobile phone that Sharp would market outside Japan. It will become available for Chinese users this February, costing about US$500, but Sharp announces that the solar powered phone may hit the shelves of other countries as well.

A group of researchers from the University of Tokyo has developed a health monitoring system that measures a wide range of body functions. The Human Recorder System is a small sensor that is fixed on a user’s chest and monitors his electrocardiograph signals, heart rate, brain waves, body temperature, respiration, pulse wave among others, to determine his health condition. Human movement is also measured with its three-axis acceleration sensor.

Other features include a 2.4GHz WiFi connectivity and can be operated for up to four days with a single charge of its CR2032 button battery. The gathered data can be transmitted wirelessly to a PC or mobile phone, making it possible for health professionals to monitor the health conditions of victims even when they live along or in a remote place. Tight will automatically run the operating system directly from a flash drive, making your files away from your computer so that the borrowing will not be tracked by others. And this device is fully encrypted to provide protection against harmful malware threats.

Tight will appear in Congress 13th Annual Internet Caucus Advisory Committee Kickoff Technology Policy Exhibition on January 26. We’re still not sure when it will be sold.
