WikiReader Gets a Spring 2010 Makeover

Openmoko has released the latest update on WikiReader, a palm-sized device that displays more than three million English Wikipedia article. These updated features include wider scientific wikis, easier navigation, increased rolling, mathematical equations, and the enhanced on-screen animation with button presses the button.

WikiReader lets users browse the different existing articles anytime and anywhere even without an Internet connection. The latest version of WikiReader also contains articles about events and discoveries recently as water on the Moon, Typhoon Ketsana, Lisbon Treaty, and Windows 7.

WikiReader current owners can download updates for free online or they can choose an annual U.S. $ 29 where Openmoko upgrade plan will send out a microSD card is updated every six months.
