Technology should adjust to the times, but this one can either be taken as a parody or an insult to our intelligence. Because the Internet generation gets confused with the traditional QWERTY keyboard layout, one company comes up with a “fast finger” keyboard wherein the letter keys are arranged alphabetically. No need to hunt where the A is placed or wonder why the letters are arranged in QWERTY in the first place . After all, people are typing in three- to four-letter acronyms while on the Internet.

The Fast Finger Keyboard has even made acronym typing easier with its shortcut keys for the most common short-hand expressions like ASAP (as soon as possible), BRB (be right back), BTW (by the way), CYA (see you), FYI (for your information), HOAS (hold on a second), HRU (who are you), IMO (in my opinion), L8R (later), LOL (laughing out loud), THX (thanks), and TTYL (talk to you later).

If you still insist on typing like a secretary, you can switch back to the QWERTY layout at a push of a key.
