Cobra Ups Their Game, Intros XRS 9970G and XRS 9965 Touchscreen Radar Detectors

Cobra has pretty much maxed out their line of radar detector when it comes to bells and whistles, except for one thing: the touchscreen. So, today announced the company XRS 9970G and XRS 9965, which included the same large red lights and GPS features found in previous models, but add a 1.5-inch touchscreen interface.

Other features include Super-Xtreme Range Superheterodyne technology detecting all 15 radar / laser bands, GPS Locator and subscribe to the AURA Lifetime, 8-point electronic compass, voice alert, car battery voltage display / low car battery warning, dangerous crossing, and reported locations for speed traps throughout the United States and Canada.

While details are still few and far between Airstash actual USB device appears as an answer to the iPhone or iPod Touch storage capacity is limited. Maybe it works by connecting over WiFi, and some how trick the iPhone to think it is a USB host device, allowing music, movies or other media to be played or used as if it was stored on internal storage devices.

As you can see it can connect / charge by USB, and what you can not see is that the infinite memory capacity thanks to the microSD card slot. We’ve shot Airstash email asking for deets and will stop by the booth at CES.
