Actually, you might want to start practicing before you have kids to work those lungs out a little. You can’t afford to not be prepared for these sorts of things. Those of you that had blow-up chairs in high school will have a small amount of an edge. The rest of you though need to really get to working on this sort of thing. Of course for this particular blow-up crib they were nice enough to include a pump. Don’t let that make you think you can get lazy though, there will come a day when you’re stuck blowing up a whole assembly line of pool toys.

If you’re a parent that prefers to take your baby into the great outdoors then you know sometimes it gets challenging. One way to make sure your baby stays right where they should be is to pick up this GoCrib. It’s a mesh crib that’ll let them play outside without you worrying about any sticks or leaves getting jammed into their mouth. The whole thing will fit directly into a handy little book bag. Once your child has gotten older, the mesh sides unzip to give them a little fort to play within. To purchase the Guava Family GoCrib it’ll cost you $249 through Amazon.

You will be able to choose from a dinky looking hamster or a meerkat friend depending on your taste, where it is smart enough to retain whatever you say to it, repeating incessantly in a slightly patronizing voice.

Want them to speak up? Just give their tiny paws a gentle squeeze and you’re good to go, where anything they hear will be spoken back to you. Of course, it might just keep your toddler who is now learning to speak quiet, but that remains to be seen as he/she might just get frustrated at the Chatimal in question, ripping out an arm or a leg in desperation to be the resident top dog where the chatterbox category is concerned. You can choose from either grey, beige or ginger shades for the hamster, while the meerkat has only one color – brown. At £19.99 each, they’re certainly worth checking out if you want to purchase a toy for your little one.

All you need to do to get a bunch of coins sorted out would be to chuck the loose change into its little container on top, where it will then proceed to sort out all your UK coin denominations that range from 1p to £2. Capable of holding between 25 and 50 coins of each denomination in transparent tubes after sorting, all you need to do is pour out the sorted coins into a respective container or bag for future use.

Well, don’t just dismiss the Renovo Photo Scanner as another has-been before you even know what it does, eh? This unique £69.99 purchase will not only convert your old photos into a digital file format, it will also send those files straight onto an SD memory card (which is obviously inserted into the Renovo Photo Scanner itself) so that you do not need to power up a computer and be tethered by a wire while you covert hundreds of old photos. No sir, with the Renovo Photo Scanner, you can sit down in front of the TV and watch Avatar three times over in succession while you scan in your stack of old photos, being safe in the knowledge that each photo that goes through will already be digitized into a file for future use. Of course, the memory card slot also supports Memory Stick or the MMC formats. All photos are stored in 2-megapixel resolution, which means you can’t blow them up too large down the road.

To me it was the greatest invention ever created at the time. Thankfully LED lighting has not been limited to just computer accessories. Sure, there have been times when the LED lights go a little overboard, but in the case of this stovetop, it just enhances the looks.

This bright white style makes your stovetop look a whole lot more modern and chic. If you’re the type that loves to paint and try all different colors just to change things up a little, then this would be a handy item to have around. Not only is it filled with LED lights, but ones that change colors. That means you can change out the coloring time and time again to go with your décor. This is from Gorenje’s “Touch of Light” collection that was designed by Karim Rashid. That sadly means that this will probably be a little hard to get your hands on by being either expensive or just limited in numbers.

Well, if you happen to have a patio in your home and would like to sit outside even when the mercury drops later this year, you might want to consider investing $149.95 in the Even Warmth Patio Umbrella Heater from Hammacher.

This is a special heater which is attached to virtually any patio umbrella, where it is capable of evenly distributing radiant heat to folks sitting under the canopy. It will work differently from tabletop heaters as those only warm a limited area, but thanks to a trio of adjoining arms, they will combine to cast an 8? circumference of heat which is more or less guaranteed to provide warmth to everyone around the table.

It relies on quartz heating elements to produce radiant heat that keeps you and your family or friends warm, making furniture surfaces nice and cozy for your cat to sleep on as well. Whenever you fold down an arm, its heating element will shut off, so you can always adjust the temperature accordingly depending on the number of arms.

Of course, these are also more than capable of capturing geotagged photos along the way, allowing you to share you experiences online when you return home. All of the new eXplorist models will merge high-sensitivity GPS, an intuitive user interface, easy-to-read mapping and accurate navigation to make sure you can find your way around, and they will roll out to consumers in North America, Europe, and many other countries worldwide sometime before the year is over, specifically in Q4 2010.

You will be able to find a 3? color touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus capability, a microphone and speaker to record ge-referenced images, videos and voice notes in all three new eXplorist handheld GPS units. Not only that, they’re rugged enough to be certified as waterproof (according to the IPX-7 standard), although this doesn’t mean you can bring it on your next diving trip. Not only that, they will be preloaded with the most detailed worldwide map in the industry, where Magellan’s World Edition map will comprise of a complete road network for the U.S., Canada, Western Europe and Australia, not to mention water features, urban and rural land use, and a realistic shaded relief background.

The big momma among the three would be the eXplorist 710 that merges the best of on-road and off-road navigation. You get integrated maps for adventurers as they head out from doorstep to trailhead to summit and back. It will also boast both Magellan’s highly detailed Summit Series topographic map and its City Series turn-by-turn map, letting you use it in busy city streets as well whenever you aren’t traversing the great outdoors. As for the eXplorist 610 and 710, both models will come with a 3-axis electronic compass and a barometric altimeter that offers precise orientation, accurate elevation information, and enables for weather pattern tracking.

Of course, many people out there would be interested to know about pricing so that they can save up enough dough before the release date. Well, the Magellan eXplorist 510 GPS device will retail for $349.99, while the eXplorist 610 is going for $449.99, with the high-end eXplorist 710 at costing another $100.

Peter Molyneux, designer of famed video games franchises like Black and White and Fable has created a new game called Milo and Kate, which crosses into a very realistic realm of gaming.

In the game, the player gets to “mentor” a boy named Milo or a girl named Kate. The players can ask questions that will have the gaming characters respond back in a very artificial way (for now) and even “catch” virtual things that players throw at them. You can also pick up after them, and I believe there is an interesting conversation by Milo or Kate’s parents that the player overhears about a move of some kind.

Okay, this is getting into an area of gaming that I never thought we would have. By the way, the character of Milo and Kate isn’t just in the programming of the game. The mind of this virtual character is “cloud hosted”, so it “grows” with periodic updates from its host.

I suppose that Milo and Kate could prepare players for mentoring a real person, or maybe even parenting a child. Either way, I’m not even certain I can call it a game.

It was created by a former cyclist and Ironman triathlete who suffered hip and knee injuries. The ElliptiGO is designed to help runners avoid “beating up their bodies through repeated impact” as well as “position riders ‘out of the saddle’ and using their weight to generate torque with every stride”.

A recent video of the Early Show that you can view at my Source link shows weatherman Dave Price riding it. While he is riding, he states that “it feels so natural” despite the ElliptiGO’s spokesperson saying “that’s not proper technique”. I have another video of it that you can watch after the jump.

The ElliptiGO weighs in at 40 pounds, and is capable of speeds up to 15 to 25 miles per hour. It has eight shifting speeds, and braking is possible with hand levers. You will note how the mechanisms look like the arms of a swimmer doing freestyle.

According to my Source, the ElliptiGO costs about $2,200, and is available in blue, green, and black. I’m not certain if twenty-two hundred dollars is going to be too much. I would have to really know what kind of body I am going to get by using this product before I make a purchase that high.

It’s way better if you can manage to go without changing batteries or plugging things in. This solar lantern will allow for you to keep your light source juiced and working all night long. Of course it looks like something you’d find at space camp instead of a camp in the middle of the woods, but at least you’ll be battery-free.

The lantern has a high and low emergency flashing mode, high/low solar rechargeable automatic panel opening and an LED light. It also has an emergency function, plus it’s made out of stainless steel and ABS construction. In order to reach a full charge it’ll take 12-24 hours through the panel, or you can use the included AC adapter. When you pick this up you’ll also get a small umbrella thrown in. To get the set it’ll cost you $99.99 through Amazon.
